This Refund and Returns Policy applies to purchases made on tooling.harsle.com (the “Site”), operated by NANJING HARSLE MACHINE TOOL CO., LTD. (“HARSLE”, “we”, “us”, “our”).

This policy explains return eligibility, non-returnable items, refund conditions, timelines, and how to request after-sales support.

1. General Policy Overview

Due to the industrial and customized nature of press brake tooling and related products, returns and refunds are subject to specific conditions.

We aim to provide accurate specifications, drawings confirmation, and quality inspection before shipment. Customers are encouraged to carefully review product details before placing an order.

By placing an order, you agree to this Refund and Returns Policy.

2. Return Eligibility

A return may be accepted only under the following conditions:

  • The product was damaged during transportation (verified with evidence).
  • The product received is materially different from the confirmed order specifications.
  • The product has a verified manufacturing defect.
  • The return request is submitted within the required timeframe.

To be eligible for return:

  • The item must be unused and not installed.
  • The item must be in its original packaging.
  • The customer must provide clear photos and/or videos as evidence.
  • Written approval must be obtained from HARSLE before returning any product.

Unauthorized returns will not be accepted.

3. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are generally non-returnable and non-refundable:

  • Custom-made or made-to-order tooling (including special radius, segmented tools, special length, non-standard material, coatings, etc.).
  • Products manufactured according to customer drawings or confirmed technical specifications.
  • Items damaged due to improper installation, misuse, incorrect tonnage selection, or improper machine setup.
  • Normal wear parts after use.
  • Clearance or discounted items marked as non-returnable.

Because press brake tooling is often customized for specific applications, most confirmed custom production orders cannot be cancelled once manufacturing has started.

4. Order Cancellation

Standard stock items:

  • May be cancelled before shipment.
  • If already packed or shipped, cancellation may not be possible.

Custom orders:

  • May only be cancelled before production starts.
  • Once production has begun, cancellation is generally not permitted.

If cancellation is approved, bank charges and transaction fees (if any) may be deducted from the refund amount.

5. Damaged or Incorrect Items

If you receive damaged, defective, or incorrect products:

  1. Notify us within 7 calendar days of delivery.
  2. Provide:
    • Order number
    • Clear photos/videos of outer packaging
    • Photos/videos of the product
    • Description of the issue
  3. Keep all packaging materials for inspection.

We will evaluate the case and may:

  • Offer replacement parts,
  • Arrange partial refund,
  • Arrange full replacement,
  • Provide technical guidance if the issue is related to setup.

Claims submitted after 7 days may be difficult to process due to carrier limitations.

6. Return Shipping Responsibility

If the return is approved:

  • If the issue is caused by HARSLE (manufacturing defect or shipping error), we will reasonably discuss and arrange return or replacement solutions.
  • If the return is requested for non-quality reasons (subject to approval), the customer is responsible for return shipping costs, customs duties, and related charges.

Returned products must be shipped back only after receiving written confirmation and return instructions from HARSLE.

7. Refund Processing

Once the returned item is received and inspected:

  • We will notify you of the approval or rejection of the refund.
  • If approved, refunds will be processed using the original payment method, unless otherwise agreed.
  • Processing time: typically 5–15 business days depending on banking channels.

Refund amount may exclude:

  • Shipping costs (unless caused by our error),
  • Bank transfer charges,
  • Payment gateway fees,
  • Customs duties already incurred.

8. Installation and Technical Responsibility

Tooling performance depends on:

  • Correct machine setup,
  • Proper tonnage selection,
  • Proper die opening (V-width),
  • Proper material type and thickness.

We strongly recommend confirming technical compatibility before ordering. If needed, we can provide application guidance prior to purchase.

Damage caused by exceeding recommended tonnage, incorrect die selection, or improper usage is not covered under this policy.

9. Force Majeure

We are not responsible for delays, losses, or damages caused by events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, customs delays, transportation disruptions, or government restrictions.
