This Shipping Policy applies to purchases made on tooling.harsle.com (the “Site”), operated by NANJING HARSLE MACHINE TOOL CO., LTD. (“HARSLE”, “we”, “us”, “our”). This policy explains shipping methods, handling times, delivery timelines, costs, tracking, customs duties, and how to handle shipping issues.

1. Where We Ship

We ship HARSLE press brake tooling and related accessories to many countries and regions worldwide, subject to:

  • destination country import regulations,
  • carrier service availability,
  • product restrictions (if any).

If your location is not available at checkout, please contact us and we will try to provide a manual shipping solution.

2. Order Processing & Handling Time

Order processing includes order confirmation, payment verification, picking, packing, and export documentation preparation.

Typical handling time:

  • In-stock items: 2–7 business days
  • Custom / made-to-order tooling: 10–30 business days (depending on complexity, drawings confirmation, and production schedule)
  • Mixed orders (in-stock + custom): usually shipped together after all items are ready, unless you request split shipment (additional fees may apply)

Notes:

  • Business days exclude weekends and public holidays in China.
  • For custom tooling, production starts after we confirm specifications (drawings, model, material, hardness, coating, etc.) and receive payment per the agreed terms.

3. Shipping Methods

We select the most suitable carrier and transport method based on destination, package size/weight, and customer preference:

  • Express Courier: DHL / FedEx / UPS / TNT (fast delivery, door-to-door)
  • Air Freight: for larger shipments requiring faster transit than sea
  • Sea Freight: for bulk orders (LCL/FCL) where cost efficiency is prioritized
  • Customer-arranged pickup or forwarder: supported upon request

Shipping method availability may vary by destination.

4. Estimated Delivery Time

Delivery time = Handling Time + Transit Time

Typical transit time (reference only):

  • Express courier: 3–10 business days
  • Air freight: 7–15 business days (airport-to-airport or door delivery depending on service)
  • Sea freight: 20–45 days (varies widely by port and local clearance)

Delivery timelines are estimates and may be affected by customs clearance, weather, carrier capacity, peak seasons, or local regulations.

5. Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated based on:

  • product weight and dimensions,
  • packaging requirements,
  • destination,
  • shipping method,
  • insurance (if selected),
  • any requested special services (e.g., wooden crate, reinforced packing, split shipment).

How shipping fees are shown:

  • If the Site supports real-time quotes, shipping cost will appear at checkout.
  • If shipping cannot be accurately calculated at checkout (common for large/bulk tooling orders), we will confirm the final shipping cost by email/WhatsApp before shipment.

If you have a preferred shipping method or forwarder, please share the details during checkout notes or contact us.

6. Tracking Information

When your order ships, we will provide tracking information (when available) via email or other agreed communication channels.

Tracking updates may take 24–72 hours to appear depending on carrier systems.

7. Customs, Duties, Taxes & Import Clearance

International shipments may be subject to:

  • import duties,
  • VAT/GST,
  • brokerage fees,
  • other local taxes or port charges.

Unless explicitly stated in your quotation/contract, the buyer is responsible for all customs duties, taxes, and import clearance requirements in the destination country.

We can provide standard export documents where applicable, such as:

  • Commercial Invoice
  • Packing List
  • Bill of Lading / Air Waybill (as applicable)
  • Certificate of Origin (if requested and available)
  • Other documents required by your customs (may incur additional fees)

8. Address Accuracy & Delivery Failure

Please ensure your shipping address, contact name, phone number, and email are accurate.

If a shipment is returned or fails due to:

  • incorrect or incomplete address,
  • unreachable recipient,
  • refusal to pay duties/taxes,
  • failure to complete customs clearance,

you may be responsible for additional shipping, storage, or re-delivery fees.

9. Shipping Damage, Missing Packages & Claims

If your package arrives damaged or items are missing:

  1. Take clear photos/videos of the outer carton/crate, shipping label, internal packaging, and the product.
  2. Keep all packaging materials.
  3. Contact us within 7 calendar days of delivery with your order number and evidence.

We will help investigate with the carrier and provide a reasonable solution based on the case, which may include replacement parts, re-shipment, or other after-sales support.

Important:

  • Do not install or use damaged tooling before contacting us, as this may affect the claim outcome.
  • Claims submitted after the stated time window may be difficult to process due to carrier limitations.

10. Split Shipments

Some orders may be shipped in multiple packages due to:

  • product readiness differences,
  • package size/weight limits,
  • carrier requirements.

We will inform you if split shipment is necessary. Additional shipping fees may apply if split shipment is requested by the customer.

11. Changes & Cancellations Before Shipment

If you need to change the address or cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible.

  • Before shipment: we may be able to update details depending on order status.
  • After shipment: address changes may not be possible or may incur carrier re-routing fees.

Custom/made-to-order tooling may not be cancellable once production has started. Please refer to our Return/Refund Policy (if applicable).
